Description

Sultan is a selective, early post-emergence sulfonylurea herbicide and is used for the effective control of Phalaris minor (Gulli-danda) in wheat crop. It also controls broad leafed weeds like Chenopodium album, Melilotus alba etc. Sultan is used at 30-35 days after sowing of Wheat when the Phalaris plant are at 2-4 leaf stage.

• Sultaneffectively controls the narrow leaf weeds like Phalaris minor (Mandusi/Guli danda) and broad leaf weeds like Chenopodium (Bathu), Malilotus (Sainji)
• Sultaninhibits the synthesis of amino acids and stops the metabolic process, with the result weeds weeds dry up and ultimately dies.
